Hi everyone👋👋, Today we will know about the Ultrasonic sensor which is a basic sensor used in healthcare for identifying height, obstruction detector for blind. Here we start to know about it step by step 🤔 Why it is named as Ultrasound?? Ultrasound is a kind of sound waves used by ultrasonic sensor. This is not heard by human being due to its frequency. The human can hear sound in the range of 20-20,000Hz. The sound above 20,000Hz is called ultrasound. This sounds are used by bat for obstacle detection. WORKING The sensor is a single part which act as both source and detector. During Source emission crystal which vibrate to produce ultrasound waves when electric signal is given. The waves reflected back to crystal which vibrate it to produce electrical signal. Now we need to carefully analyse how distance is calculated. We know a basic formula for speed calculation.
